If you have a broken handle dont throw out your T2 lopper get a new handle.  And remember, the ratchet action handle puts 7 times the cutting force into the branch to make sailing through limbs a breeze. 

When you put that same exertion into the handle attached to the jaw plate, that same 7 times the force is transmitted into the ratchet handle and not the branch, making it susceptible to breakage.

We will attach a yellow stick to your new handle to help let you know that it is the ratchet action handle.
